Insurf vs. Gravie.
Gravie is a Minneapolis-based health-benefits company whose flagship, Comfort, is a level-funded group health plan; it also administers ICHRAs as Gravie ICHRA and has offered individual-contribution benefits since 2013, backed by a $179M growth round in 2023.
Every Gravie fact on this page is from their own published pages as of August 28, 2026, quoted and linked. If something has changed, tell us and we will correct it the same week.
Where Gravie is strong.
A comparison you can trust has to be honest in both directions. These are real advantages, plainly stated.
Comfort is a genuinely differentiated product with published performance: 94% of office visits covered at no cost to members last year and an average 15% total-premium savings for employers offering it (their homepage figures).
Rare breadth: one of the few providers that offers and administers both group plans and ICHRAs — enabling hybrid designs — with 340+ carriers and 8,800+ plans available through Gravie ICHRA, per their pages.
Gravie Care is a real, free, year-round human-support layer with trained, licensed advocates — and it explicitly advertises help appealing denied claims, which most ICHRA platforms do not offer at all.
Pricing, as published.
Gravie
Not published. Gravie's site has no pricing page (none exists among the 142 pages in its sitemap as of August 28, 2026), and the Gravie ICHRA page discloses no administration fee, per-employee charge, or minimum — buyers are routed to a sales meeting or phone line.

A flat per-employee platform fee, quoted in writing before you sign — and the savings audit is free before any commitment. We never hold plan funds; reimbursements run through your own payroll.
How our numbers are computedAfter enrollment, in their own words.
The question that separates ICHRA platforms is not the enrollment flow — it is what the platform is still responsible for in March.
“Claim support. Whether it’s understanding a confusing bill or appealing a denied claim, you get help managing claims with Gravie Care.”
Credit where due: that is Gravie's own published description of Gravie Care, its free year-round member-support service, and a promise of help with appealing a denied claim is rare in this category. The scope, in their own pages: the main Gravie Care service page lists help-desk-style examples (making sense of a bill, payment help, plan questions) and tells ICHRA members with carrier-issued plans, 'For questions about your individual market health plan, please contact your carrier directly.' What Gravie publishes is advocate assistance managing claims; what its pages do not describe is an appeal work product — letters, clinical documentation, or packets.
What Insurf does differently.
The savings math. Gravie's ICHRA page presents 29% as 'as much as 29%' and as 'average employer savings at renewal' on the same page, with no methodology, source, or footnote anywhere on it (as of August 28, 2026). Insurf publishes the method: every number traces to filed public data at /methodology/pricing, and our plan-choice evidence ships with a replayable script and a pinned snapshot.
The price is public here. Gravie does not publish Gravie ICHRA pricing; Insurf's audit is free, self-serve, and the flat per-employee fee is quoted in writing before you sign.
What denial help is made of. Gravie Care promises advocate assistance managing claims — genuinely more than most. Insurf's denial support is a clinical appeals engine: source-cited appeal packets, built as a medical-practice tool before we ever sold an ICHRA.
Per-person, whole-year arithmetic. No Gravie page publishes a per-person twelve-month cost methodology; that computation — premiums net of allowance, actual drug tiers, deductible paths across 15,062 filed variants — is Insurf's core product.
The questions companies comparing us to Gravie ask.
How much does Gravie ICHRA cost?
Gravie does not publish Gravie ICHRA pricing — no pricing page exists on gravie.com as of August 28, 2026, and the ICHRA page routes buyers to a sales meeting. If you are quoted a number, ask for it per employee per month in writing and compare it against platforms that publish theirs.
Does Gravie help with denied claims?
Yes — by their own published pages, Gravie Care includes 'help managing claims,' including 'appealing a denied claim,' and that deserves credit. Their service page also routes ICHRA members' plan questions to the carrier directly. The Insurf difference is the machinery: a clinical appeals engine producing source-cited appeal packets, not advocate assistance alone.
Is Gravie's 29% savings figure comparable to Insurf's audit numbers?
They are different kinds of numbers. Gravie's page presents 29% both as a ceiling ('as much as') and as an average, with no published methodology (as of August 28, 2026). An Insurf audit is computed for your specific roster from filed rates, labeled, and checkable against the public methodology — and when it says your current setup wins, it says so.
The fairest comparison is your own roster.
