The comparison shelf

Compare ICHRA platforms.

The enrollment demos all look alike. The differences that matter show up in the pricing page, the terms of service, and the math — so that is what these comparisons quote: each platform's own published words and prices, dated and linked, with the things they do well conceded plainly.

Five questions to ask any ICHRA platform.

Including us. Every item below is checkable against a vendor's published pages before you ever take a sales call.

Question 1

Is the pricing published, or gated behind a demo?

Platforms that publish a number expect to be compared. Ask for your all-in monthly cost — platform fee plus any compliance or base fees — in writing, per employee per month.

Question 2

How is the plan recommendation computed — and can you check it?

Ask whether the tool prices the whole year (premiums, deductibles, each person's prescriptions at each plan's actual tier) or ranks plans by premium and network alone. Then ask to see the methodology. Ours is public, with pinned sources, at /methodology/pricing.

Question 3

What do the terms of service say happens after enrollment?

Read the platform's own terms for the words that describe who owns a problem in March — a denied claim, a mid-year carrier dispute. The category standard is that the member handles it alone; whatever a sales deck says, the terms are the promise.

Question 4

Who holds the money?

Some platforms move premiums and allowances through cards and wallets; some run reimbursements through your own payroll. Both work — but ask what happens to funds in transit, and what the platform's obligations are if a premium payment fails.

Question 5

Will they show you the losing answer?

The honest test of any savings claim: ask the vendor to run your actual roster and current bill, and to tell you plainly if staying put wins. That is what our free audit does — and it says so when the answer is no.

Comparison questions, answered.

What should a small company pay for an ICHRA platform?

Published pricing in the category as of August 28, 2026 runs roughly $25–$45 per employee per month for companies under 50, sometimes plus base or compliance fees, and some vendors do not publish pricing at all. Insurf quotes a flat per-employee platform fee in writing before you sign; the savings audit is free either way.

Are these comparison pages fair?

Every competitor fact is that company's own published sentence or price as of August 28, 2026, quoted with a link — nothing from reviews or hearsay — and every page concedes plainly what the competitor does well. If anything is out of date, tell us and we will correct it the same week.

What actually differentiates ICHRA platforms?

Enrollment flows look similar everywhere. The real differences are the plan-choice math (a whole-year simulation versus a premium sort), what the platform's terms make it responsible for after enrollment, whether the methodology is public, and whether funds pass through the platform. The checklist on this page turns each into a question you can ask any vendor.

Can I evaluate Insurf without talking to sales?

Yes. The audit at /audit is free and self-serve: upload a census or sketch your team, and the engine prices every filed plan in your county against your current bill — including telling you when keeping what you have is the right answer.
