Insurf vs. Remodel Health.
Remodel Health is an Indianapolis-based full-service ICHRA platform (ICHRA+) for small businesses, large employers, and enterprises, sold through a broker-first channel; it raised over $100M in late 2024 and has owned PeopleKeep since February 2024.
Every Remodel Health fact on this page is from their own published pages as of August 28, 2026, quoted and linked. If something has changed, tell us and we will correct it the same week.
Where Remodel Health is strong.
A comparison you can trust has to be honest in both directions. These are real advantages, plainly stated.
Genuine scale and larger-group depth: dedicated offerings for 50–199 and 200+ employee organizations, ICHRA programs available in all fifty states, and published stats of 100,000+ members served — their figures, and a real operating footprint either way.
Capital and distribution: over $100M raised from Oak HC/FT (December 2024, their announcement), a broker revenue-sharing model, a broker certification academy, and an annual broker conference — the strongest broker machine in the category.
A named-human service layer: ClearChoice assigns launch coordinators, benefits advisors, and account managers, with licensed in-house advisors assisting employees through enrollment — plus PeopleKeep's self-serve products for the small end.
Pricing, as published.
Remodel Health
No standard rate card is published — remodelhealth.com/pricing redirects to the homepage, which carries no prices. Their own comparison page answers the pricing question in their words: for ICHRA+, 'a variable PEPM, including variable broker compensation,' quoted case by case. The only published number is the PeopleKeep small-business tier at $25 per employee per month plus a $50 monthly base fee.

A flat per-employee platform fee, quoted in writing before you sign — and the savings audit is free before any commitment. We never hold plan funds; reimbursements run through your own payroll.
How our numbers are computedAfter enrollment, in their own words.
The question that separates ICHRA platforms is not the enrollment flow — it is what the platform is still responsible for in March.
“To submit a claim, please reach out directly to your insurance carrier’s member services department. You can find their contact information on the back of your insurance card, including a helpful 800 number. Please note that Remodel Health cannot submit claims on your behalf, but your insurance carrier's team will be happy to guide you through the process”
That is the full text of Remodel Health's member help-center article 'How Do I Submit a Claim?' (as of August 28, 2026). Their homepage separately promises 'member advocacy' and licensed in-house benefits advisors — real service, scoped to plan selection and enrollment. The published boundary is the one that matters in March: claims, and what happens when they are denied, are between the member and the carrier.
What Insurf does differently.
The price is a number here. Remodel Health's flagship pricing is 'a variable PEPM, including variable broker compensation,' quoted case by case (their words, as of August 28, 2026); Insurf quotes one flat per-employee fee in writing, and our comp posture is printed, not variable.
Before enrollment: Insurf prices the year per person — every filed plan variant, actual drug tiers, deductible paths — with the methodology public at /methodology/pricing. No equivalent whole-year, per-person cost methodology is published by Remodel Health.
After enrollment: their help center's published boundary is that they cannot submit claims on your behalf and members should call the carrier; Insurf built the clinical appeals engine that prepares source-cited appeal packets for exactly that moment.
No captive money: Insurf never holds plan funds — reimbursements run through your own payroll. Remodel Health discloses it is a financial technology company running payments through a banking partner; that is workable plumbing, and it is a different posture.
The questions companies comparing us to Remodel Health ask.
How much does Remodel Health cost?
There is no published rate card as of August 28, 2026 — their own comparison page describes ICHRA+ pricing as 'a variable PEPM, including variable broker compensation,' with a custom quote. The published exception is the PeopleKeep small-business tier ($25 per employee per month plus a $50 base fee). If you are quoted a number, get it per employee per month in writing — including what the broker earns — and compare it to written quotes from platforms that publish theirs.
Does Remodel Health help when an insurance claim is denied?
Their homepage promises member advocacy and licensed in-house advisors; their member help center states they 'cannot submit claims on your behalf' and directs members to the carrier's 800 number (both their own published words, as of August 28, 2026). Insurf's denial support is a clinical appeals engine producing source-cited appeal packets — a different kind of machinery for the same moment.
We're a 100-person company. Isn't Remodel Health the safer choice at our size?
They have genuine large-group depth, and if you evaluate them, do it with both numbers in writing. Insurf's engine prices every employee's actual year across every filed plan in our sixteen published states — and the free audit will tell you honestly what the switch is worth, including when the answer is that your current setup wins.
The fairest comparison is your own roster.
